Reeperbahn
Façade Screen on Historic Building
In collaboration with the client Pool One, we installed a 28 m² Expromo LED screen with a 6 mm pixel pitch directly onto the wall of a historic building on the Reeperbahn. Because of the building’s age, we ran load-bearing tests to ensure the structure could handle the weight. The full setup, including the steel frame, came in at just 700 kg.
The entire installation took only 2.5 days, thanks to careful planning and smooth collaboration with Pool One. The result is a clean, modern screen that blends into its surroundings while delivering crystal-clear visuals.

Iconic Screen Upgraded
Just down the street, we replaced the iconic Coca-Cola rooftop screen with a brand-new 103 m² Expromo display. The old screen, which had been in place for over a decade, was removed in a single day. Using a mobile crane and rope rigging, we installed the new screen without closing off the Reeperbahn for long.
This updated screen is more energy-efficient, using only a third of the power compared to the previous model. To protect nearby residents from light disturbance, we also added custom shaders that limit side-angle brightness.
Many thanks to Pool One and to Pilot Screentime for the great collaboration.
