Expromo has produced and installed three innovative LED pylons for Nordfyns Business and Tourism. These pylons are powered by solar energy from integrated panels located on the back, significantly reducing energy consumption and reliance on the grid.

Expromo’s unique SPSTM (Solar Power System) enables greater solar energy utilization than conventional solutions. The solar panels compensate for up to 87% of the system’s energy consumption, and their efficient design ensures electricity generation even on cloudy days. The produced energy is stored in built-in batteries for use around the clock.

Per Olesen, Director of Nordfyns Business and Tourism, explains in a video why they chose these solar pylons for their new outdoor communication. A key advantage is that the system operates directly on direct current (DC), eliminating the need for inefficient inverters and increasing system efficiency by up to 50%.
