Expromo Europe proudly delivered the world’s largest LED screen at sea for the MS Roald Amundsen, the first hybrid-powered expedition ship belonging to the Norwegian company Hurtigruten. This groundbreaking installation won two global awards at the International Digital Signage Awards 2020 in the categories of Technical Advances and Innovation in Management and Other Software and Hotels, Resorts, Theme Parks and Attractions.

The massive screen measures 6.5 meters wide and 17.5 meters high, equivalent to seven stories. Positioned in the ship’s atrium, it displays the natural environments through which the ship sails, providing an unparalleled experience for passengers. In addition to this record-breaking screen, we also supplied other maritime-approved LED displays for the project, including a flexible double-sided screen.
