As part of an effort to modernize West Virginia’s service areas, Expromo supplied a custom LED Mediamesh™ display for the Beckley Travel Plaza in collaboration with GKD-USA, Inc. The screen wraps around a 90-degree corner of the building, creating a unique visual presence that engages visitors from multiple angles.

The project developed over the course of a year, from early planning to final installation. GKD-USA oversaw the design and fabrication of the structure, while Expromo delivered the LED technology, cabling, and on-site installation support.

The installation features a 40mm x 42.5mm pixel pitch with a total resolution of 308 x 138 pixels—split between two sections: 144 x 138 (facing the gas pumps) and 164 x 138 (facing the truck parking area). The display includes scenic footage and tourism highlights, showcasing everything from mountain vistas to outdoor adventures, all designed to inspire travelers and promote West Virginia’s attractions.
